Socialisation - Play - Learn - Cuddles
..and of course being kept out of mischief! A bored puppy alone at home is, well... a gnawed table leg or half a thong with the bits strewn across your bed! It is incredibly important for puppies to socialise as young as possible. Puppies have a critical learning window of time being approximately between 3 to 17 weeks of age. Your puppy's experiences during this important period of learning and development can influence and shape their behaviour into adulthood.
Socialising your pup must be done in a safe, social and positive environment. Doing this can be difficult though unless you have friends with dogs that are up to date with their vaccinations. At Darlo Dogs we love puppies! We accept puppies from when they are sufficiently vaccinated to being exposed to other vaccinated dogs.
Our puppies come in all shapes and sizes but all are small breed puppies. We have some as young as 10 weeks, some weighing 1.3kg and all learn to play together. They are monitored for different styles of play and with a limit on numbers we are able to give your puppy a safe, yet super fun, place to socialise. We build on your training at home with basic commands and work on the illusive toilet training.
